The Logic Pro X content library is unique and insanely powerful. Let me show you what it is about and you can start today to use its immense power!
When I first started using Logic Pro X, what really got me was the wealth of native software synthesizers, loops and mixing channel strips. You literally don't have to buy anything else to start making music. No sampling, no recording, no nonsense. To me, it is the DAW that is best geared towards pure composers.
In the most recent updates, the library has taken ridiculously cool proportions, with multiple gigabytes of presets, loops, drum kits and other audio samples. In this video tutorial, JT is showing you how to install all of this good stuff!
Alchemy is an incredible software synthesizer. As modern music integrates more and more electronic elements borrowed from dubstep, house and hiphop, you do not want to leave any of the new EDM Alchemy presets behind. These new presets add new waveforms to create patches from, and integrate cool new synthesis methods to learn from.
When I first discovered the power of Apple Loops, I was blown away. Being able to throw in any loop and changing the tempo and key instantly was a big creativity booster. Back in my day, Apple Loops Jam Packs were not exactly cheap. At least not for an amateur beatmeister like myself. But now, all Jam Packs and newer loops are free. If you have the disk space, pull the trigger and download these bad boys!
If you are an urban or EDM producer, you will never feel like you have enough drum hit samples. Drummer is an insanely powerful and intuitive drum tool. With the addition of electronic and hip hop drummers and kits, you have one of the most unique, creativity-inducing drum programming tools out there. And the kits sound bananas.
Dive in there and download away. Thank me later.
